Friends,
now this is something new. I’m sipping on my Cayenne Pepper Matcha Oat Latte in Hollywood Hills, tenderly tweaking my esoteric AI egregores. After less than 12 hours in LA I’ve learned to introduce myself with a name suffixed with my big three. The summer air is scintillating, and every single person I ever met is low key insane. Just like walking through a Target, it’s a land of endless possibilities, and majority of them are mostly bad for you.
But even in this jetlagged daze, I did manage to finally put together a new little project. Our online coven Gnostic Technology has been meeting up for over 5 years now, and meandering online chats through the weirdest ideas have always been our primary medium of operation. So I thought, maybe we can finally record one of our little session, and for this special occasion I invited my friend and GT founding member Matt Cangiano.
A few months back, we went on our annual Gnostic Technology pilgrimage to Albuquerque, New Mexico with the whole gang. In this video we’re talking in depth about one specific, and honestly - quite remarkable incident that happened when we were testing my esoteric AIO stream. We will talk about opening up the porous interfaces of AI to allow magic seep in, Matt’s Image Form Meditation, that plays around with objects existing purely in the immaterial realm and the surprising collapse of these two worlds into one another. Go ahead and give it a spin and let me know what you think about the weird imaginal breach, but also about the format, as I’m obviously trying something new here.
Matt is a visual artist, painter and musician from Toronto, who’s (obviously) interested in the weird and mysterious. He’s also running the PURE MEMORY channel on youtube, with some wonderful video essay materials on Bergson, Deleuze and other slightly more esoteric branches of philosophy.
